Import from YouTube

Import YouTube videos and playlists directly with the Savebase browser extension. Watch Later, Liked Videos, individual playlists, and your loaded playlist library are supported.

Prerequisites

• Install the Savebase browser extension
• Log in to the extension with your Savebase account
• Make sure you are logged in to YouTube in the same browser

How to Import

Save to a Playlist

On a YouTube watch page, add a video to any playlist. The extension saves the video to Savebase and assigns it to a folder with the playlist's name.

Grab One Playlist

Open a YouTube playlist, including Watch Later or Liked Videos, and click the injected Grab All Videos button. Savebase imports videos up to your plan capacity and uses the playlist name for the destination folder.

Grab All Playlists

Open your YouTube channel's playlists page and click Grab All Playlists. Scroll first if needed so YouTube loads every playlist you want to import. Each playlist is recreated as a Savebase folder.

What Gets Imported

• Video title, URL, and thumbnail
• Channel name and avatar when available
• Playlist membership (recreated as a folder)
• Duplicate videos are automatically skipped
