Keep the role, the company research and the preparation together

A job search produces more than vacancy links. You save company announcements, employee interviews, portfolio examples and advice for the next interview. Savebase keeps those references beside the role they relate to. Use a company folder and a few status tags to build a research shortlist, then add the details that help you decide where to apply and how to prepare.

Put your saves to work

A practical job search workflow

Folders & tags ↗

Build a shortlist around your criteria

Save role URLs and relevant company posts in a Job search folder, with subfolders for the companies you are considering. Tag sources with labels such as remote, product-role and research-needed. Add salary information, location requirements and the listing date to a note where the source provides them. Revisit the live listing before applying because roles and requirements can change.

Notes ↗

Connect each role to useful evidence

Collect the company's product pages, recent announcements and interview resources. Add a note explaining the question each source helps answer: what the team is building, which customer problem matters, or which skill your examples should demonstrate. Keep preparation specific to the role rather than storing a generic pile of career advice you will never use.

Email reminders ↗

Bring the reference back before the next step

Set a per-post reminder on the source you want to review before an interview or application deadline and enable reminder emails. Keep your actual dates and outcomes in a calendar or application tracker. On Pro, the Google Sheets integration can provide a source inventory for a broader tracking workflow, with the tags, folders and notes attached to saved posts.

Questions about job search

Can I use Savebase as a job application tracker?

You can label saved role references with manual tags and record preparation notes. For application dates, interview stages and outcomes, keep a dedicated tracker or spreadsheet. Savebase supplies the research library behind that process.

Will saving a job listing preserve the vacancy?

An ordinary saved listing is a link to the original webpage. It can change or disappear. Record the relevant details and date in your note, and confirm the vacancy is still open before applying.
