I've been on Reddit since 2014 and hit the 1,000-saved-item cap twice before I realized nobody was going to warn me it was happening. That frustration turned into a deep dive on how Reddit's saving system actually works — the silent caps, the deletion behavior, the lack of any real organization — and eventually into writing about it.

Most of my work focuses on the specific challenges of saving and organizing content from community platforms like Reddit, where the useful post you bookmarked might be a comment buried in a thread, not just a top-level link. I also contribute to r/DataHoarder and r/PKMS, where the ethos is "if you care about it, back it up — the platform won't do it for you."
