Tags

Tags are flexible labels for cross-referencing posts across different topics and folders.

Creating Tags

Tags are created on the fly: open any post, click "Add tag", and type. Press Enter to create a new tag or select an existing one from the dropdown.

Assigning Tags

You can assign multiple tags to a single post. To tag multiple posts at once, select them with checkboxes and use the "Tag selected" bulk action.

Tag Colours

Click on any tag in the tag list to edit its colour. Pick from 12 preset colours or enter a custom hex code. Colour-coded tags make it easy to visually scan your library.

AI Auto-Tagging Pro

AI Auto-Tagging analyses each post you save and automatically applies relevant tags — no manual effort required.

Enabling AI Auto-Tagging

1

Open Settings

Go to Dashboard → Settings → AI Features.
2

Toggle Auto-Tagging

Switch on "Auto-Tag new saves".
3

Choose tag style

Select from: Descriptive (broad topics), Detailed (specific subtopics), or Custom (your own tag vocabulary).

How It Works

When you save a post, Savebase sends the title, description, and platform to an AI model. The model returns 2–5 suggested tags which are applied automatically. The entire process takes under 2 seconds.

The AI analyses:

  • Post title and caption
  • Author and account type
  • Platform context
  • Your existing tag vocabulary (for consistency)

Editing Suggested Tags

Open any post and click the AI-generated tags to edit or remove them. Your edits are used to improve future suggestions for your account.

Accuracy notice

AI suggestions are not always perfect. Review tags on important posts and correct as needed.
