Reminders
Reminders let you schedule a date and time to revisit any saved post. When the reminder fires, Savebase sends an in-app notification and an email so you don't forget to act on the content you saved.
What Are Reminders?
Each post can have one active reminder. When the scheduled time arrives, you receive:
- An in-app notification (bell icon in the dashboard header)
- A reminder email from
[email protected]with the post title, a motivational quote, and a "Go to Dashboard" button
Setting a Reminder (Desktop)
Open a post card
Pick a date and time
Add an optional note
Click Save Reminder
Setting a Reminder (Mobile)
When saving via the Share Sheet, tap Set Reminder and use the date/time picker. You can also set or edit reminders from within the mobile app's post detail view.
To view all your upcoming reminders on mobile, tap the bell (🔔) icon in the bottom navigation bar. This filters the library to show only posts with active reminders.
Reminder Notifications
Reminder emails come from [email protected]. They include:
- The post title and source platform
- A "Go to Dashboard" button linking directly to the post
- A one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom
Overdue vs Upcoming
Post cards show two visual states for reminders:
| State | Appearance | Label |
|---|---|---|
| Upcoming | Blue badge | "Reminder: in [X days/hours]" |
| Overdue | Red badge | "Due: [X days/hours] overdue" |
Marking as Done
Click the check (✓) icon on the reminder badge to mark the reminder as done. This deletes the reminder record — the post itself is unaffected. You can set a new reminder on the same post at any time.
Email Preferences
To disable reminder emails, go to Dashboard → Settings → Notifications and toggle off "Reminder email notifications". In-app notifications are always delivered regardless of this setting.
You can also unsubscribe directly from any reminder email by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom — this updates your preference immediately without requiring a login.
