Notes

Notes let you attach a private, freeform annotation to any saved post. Use notes to record why you saved something, key takeaways, action items, or anything else you want to remember.

What Are Notes?

A note is a plain-text field attached to a specific post. Notes are private — only you can see them. They are not derived from the original post content; they are your own words.

Notes are available on all plans, including Free.

Adding a Note (Desktop)

1

Open any post card

Hover over a post in your dashboard and click the three-dot menu (…) or the note icon.
2

Click Add Note / Edit Note

A text field appears inline on the card.
3

Type your note

Write anything you like — context, reminders, action items.
4

Click Save

The note is saved immediately. A note icon appears on the post card to indicate a note exists.

Adding a Note (Mobile)

When saving via the Share Sheet, tap the Note field and type before tapping Save. You can also edit notes on any post inside the mobile app by tapping the post to open the detail view.

Searching Notes

Notes are fully indexed for full-text search. Type any word from your note in the search bar and the post will appear in results — even if that word doesn't appear in the original post content. You can also filter by Has notes in the filter panel to show only posts that have a note.

Notes in Exports

Notes are included when you export your library to Notion, Google Sheets, JSON, or CSV. In Notion, the note appears as the Notes property. In Google Sheets, it appears in the Notes column.
